Correction · Key I · Practice 1
Day 1 · 07:04
The student wrote
“I want to make more money next year and finally be my own boss.”
The Mentor
That is a wish. “More” is not a quantity and “next year” is not a date, so nothing in your sentence can be acted on this week.
Written as a definite aim it names a sum, a date, and what you give in return: two hours before work, six days a week, beginning tomorrow. Notice that you do not yet believe that sentence. What refuses it is the paradigm, and Key II examines it directly.
Hill is exact about the order of these things: desire first, then a definite plan, and begin at once “whether you are ready or not”.Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich
Practice 1: write the aim in one sentence, with a sum and a date, and state what you will give in return.
Standing 1 of 1 · Practice 2 is assigned tomorrow at 07:00
